Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the PokiPaw mobile application ("App") operated by PokiPaw ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PokiPaw is a pet care management application that allows users to:

  • Track pet health records, vaccinations, and medical history.
  • Log daily activities including walks, meals, sleep, and mood.
  • Manage pet-related expenses with categorized tracking and analytics.
  • Set up care routines, medication schedules, and reminders.
  • Access breed-specific training programs and progress tracking.
  • Share pet management with family members.
  • Find nearby veterinary services and emergency resources.
  • Report lost pets and browse adoption listings.
  • Store pet documents, photos, and generate health reports.

3. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or email authentication. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete account information.
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • All activities that occur under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Free and Premium Plans

The App offers a free tier and a premium subscription:

  • Free Plan: Includes core features with limits on the number of pets and family members.
  • Premium Plan: Available at $2.99/month or $24.99/year, offering unlimited pets, advanced features, training programs, and priority support.

Premium subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription terms, billing, cancellation, and refund policies are governed by the respective store's terms. Premium access follows the pet owner — family members inherit the owner's subscription tier for shared pets.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App, including pet data, photos, documents, and records ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the App's services.

You are responsible for ensuring your User Content does not:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe on any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Contain malicious, harmful, or objectionable material.

6. Community Features

The App includes community features such as lost pet reports and adoption listings. When using these features:

  • You must provide accurate information in reports and listings.
  • You must not post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
  • You are solely responsible for any interactions with other users.
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Medical Disclaimer

The App is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. Health scores, breed-specific recommendations, nutrition targets, activity suggestions, and any other health-related information provided by the App are for informational and educational purposes only. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical advice, diagnoses, and treatment for your pet.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure.
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent free plan limits.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App without authorization.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, graphics, and branding, is owned by PokiPaw and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PokiPaw shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the App.
  • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the App's content or features.
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
  • Reliance on health information provided by the App without consulting a veterinarian.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your data through the App or by contacting us.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PokiPaw operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
